Dreamstone Site

The site for Dreamstone is Hard Labor Creek State Park in Rutledge, Georgia.

Please note: We are using the large group camp, Camp Rutledge. Camp Rutledge has 120 beds in cabins; tent camping is not available on site (but is available elsewhere in the park). A few cottages are also available for rent through the park. For more information on tenting and cottages, call 1-800-864-7275 or go to the Georgia State Parks system’s website.

The event site opens at 6 p.m. Eastern time on Friday and closes at 9 a.m. on Sunday. No pets allowed in the group camp area. All service animals should wear a visible service animal vest. Georgia State Parks’ policy states that “consumption or use of alcoholic beverages or intoxicants is unlawful in any public-use area.”

GPS Directions to Troll: 33.65241 N, 83.58262 W

Directions from Athens, GA: Take your best route to US 129 / US 441, heading South out of Athens. In Bishop, turn right onto Price Mill Rd. Turn right onto Wellington St. Turn right onto Bostwick Rd. Turn left onto Fairplay Rd. Follow to Hard Labor Creek State Park, and turn a hard left onto Camp Rutledge Rd. (the entrance to the stables and Camp Rutledge), before you get to the stone bridge. Follow the long and winding road beyond the stables to the camp.

Directions from I-20: Take the Newborn Rd. exit (exit no. 105) into Rutledge, turn left onto W Dixie Hwy. and turn right onto Fairplay St. / Rd. Continue on Fairplay Rd. to the park. Stay on the main road, go to the stables and Camp Rutledge entrance (just across the stone bridge) at Camp Rutledge Rd., and turn right. Follow the long and winding road beyond the stables to the camp.

This is for the main office at the park (phone 706-557-3001), which is located near the golf course. Camp Rutledge is located in a different part of the park, on Camp Rutledge Rd., accessed off of Fairplay Rd. just north of the stone bridge.
