Danelaw Site
The site for Danelaw is Fort Yargo State Park in Winder, Georgia. We are using Group Shelter B and the adjacent picnic shelter.
Note: This is a one-day event! The event site opens at 10 a.m. Eastern time on Saturday and closes at 9:30 p.m.
Lodging is on your own. We can arrange crash space by request. Tent camping, cabins, and cottages are available for rent through the park. For more information on camping facilities, call 1-800-864-7275 or go to the Georgia State Parks system’s website.
DIRECTIONS
From GA-316/University Parkway, go north on GA Hwy 81 towards Winder, turn right onto Yargo Area B Rd. (Do NOT go to the main park entrance.) Group Shelter B is near the end of the road on the left, just before the UGA Rowing Boathouse.
