Activities Tudor child on hobby horse

Join us for a day of fencing, fighting, thrown weapons, dance, live music, classes, fiber arts, and a scriptorium. Best of all, there will be a Parade of Hobby Horses with jousting and contests for youth and adults led by the Sovereigns of Misrule!

The Caga Tió de Nadal (candy-filled log) will be returning this year, with a scheduled time slot for children during the day and adults after feast.

There will also be a sponsored open art competition for Best Depiction of Rabbits / Hares, with adult and youth categories (documentation is not required, but simple documentation is welcome).

We are also delighted to host Dreamers Moot — a Regional Arts and Sciences Faire! Entries are judged with the same guidelines and caliber of judges as those of the Kingdom Arts and Sciences Faire. Documentation is required for regional A&S faires. The Kingdom A&S office will assign judges and a judging time. Feedback from the judges provides artisans an opportunity to make adjustments and add enhancements to their project and documentation prior to Kingdom A&S.

Event Registration

$10 per adult; 17 and under free. Non-member adult additional fee: $5. More information.

Food

IMPORTANT NOTE: This site is peanut free!! Do not bring anything containing peanuts or peanut products to the event.

Lunch is on your own. There are a number of places within a few minutes drive — fast food, casual, and a couple of grocery stores. Feel free to make a food run or bring your lunch.

The feast is potluck / covered trencher, so please bring a dish (to share with 10 people) that does NOT contain peanuts or any peanut products. Please also provide a list of ingredients for each dish. You are welcome to bring your choice of dish for the feast. If you are having trouble deciding on what to bring, the following guidelines might be helpful, based on your mundane (modern) last name:

  • A-H: Meat and / or cheese dishes
  • I-P: Veggie dishes / bread
  • Q-Z: Desserts / sweets

The kitchen is unavailable for heating dishes, so if you have an extension cord or power strip that can be used for crockpots, please bring it.
